How it behaves

A well-trained dog.

Sit.

It stays out of the way. Posts are checked a few screens ahead, and hidden ones leave a single line in the site's own font.

Speak.

It tells you why. Every hidden post has a plain reason: "drive-by plug," "generic filler," "engagement bait."

Drop it.

You're the boss. Show any hidden post, mark it Not slop, hide one Rotty missed, or set how strict it is.

What it runs on

Your choice of model.

A language model reads each post. You choose which one, and posts go straight from your browser to it, never through us.

FAQ

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. With your ChatGPT plan, a free Groq key or Rotty Local it costs nothing extra. With your own paid API key it uses small, cheap models and stops at a daily spending limit you set (50¢ by default).

Can I use my own API key?

Yes: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or Groq. The key stays in your browser and is sent only to the provider it belongs to.

What if it hides something good?

Every hidden post says why and has Show. Mark it Not slop and it stays visible. Choose Relaxed, Balanced or Strict to set how much it hides.

What does it send, and where?

With Rotty Local, nothing. Otherwise only the post's text and its context, straight from your browser to the model you picked. Never the author's username, never your browsing history. The privacy policy lists exactly what's sent.

Which sites and browsers?

Reddit (new and old), X and LinkedIn, in Chrome on your computer.
